Avengers : Endgame, Explaining End and What Is Next? – (Spoiler Alert)

If you saw Avengers: Endgame, you can read this whole story, we don't want to be a spoiler. You can read it at your own risk.

Avengers: Endgame officially completed The Infinity Saga, or I should say the Iron Man saga! It brings together almost all of the MCU movies and it also brings in a group of remarkable people to give us the most epic grand finale in the history of finales. There’s nothing that can top this ever, and we just have to say, what an ENDING! We were left in a complete state of Nirvana.
Warning: I repeat, "This article contains major spoilers so stay away if you’ve not seen the film."
Arriving at the end, this film makes our dream come true. We get to see the biggest battle as Cap didn’t take his stand alone. He is rejoined by every surviving hero in the MCU. The snap victims returned as a courtesy of the Hulk, and Doctor Strange led them all right back to Earth. The cinematic battle of the decade took place and it was all about taking the stones back to the Quantum Realm, so the Avengers could put them back exactly where they took them from.
Among all the greatness happening in the overwhelming battle, the Avengers were playing a relay to get the Infinity Stones to the Van. But Thanos had to raise the stakes again. He had to prove his inevitability. Hence he showed us the most epic javelin throw destroy the van with his double-bladed sword. He ultimately got the Infinity Gauntlet and there was no one close enough to stop him besides Captain Marvel and Iron Man.

Thanos just didn’t have the strength to beat Captain Marvel hand to hand, and so he used to power stone to launch her about 30 meters away. That left just Tony Stark to prevent Thanos from snapping again. He got to Thanos, tried to resist him from snapping but the Mad Titan was able to push him away easily. He snapped to wipe out the entire Universe this time, only to start it from scratch, but found out that the stones were actually missing from his Gauntlet.
Sneaky old Tony had built in a failsafe in his own Mark 85 and was able to take the stones away from Thanos’ Gauntlet. Then came the moment which stunned all the theatre screens. Tony snapped his fingers delivering the most epic one-liner in the history of MCU, “I am Iron Man”.
As a result of that, he vanquished all the villains in the arsenal of Thanos and the Titan was disintegrated in the exact same way that he decimated half the population of the entire Universe at the end of Infinity War. It was the most epic sacrifice and everyone was left in tears as the sequence that followed was the most emotional moment in MCU’s history. Tony Stark took the damage from the snap and drew his last breath while everyone stood in respect.
Rhodey was so proud, Peter did everything he could to try and bring Tony back, but the biggest statement of love came from Pepper’s actions. She accepted the fact that this was always Tony’s destiny and she was mature enough to let him go. He carried the weight of the Universe upon his shoulders and Pepper knew that the fate of the Universe depended upon it. This was such a beautiful ending and it left us all stunned. It was as if the Earth stood still for real!.
We witnessed the end of the Infinity Saga, and the guy who started it all ended it in the grandest way possible. It was surely an end, but it also marked a new beginning. Tony Stark gave the Universe a second chance to rebuild and rejoice what they have. It’s funny that we though Cap would be the one to probably make this sacrifice, while Tony will get married to reunite everyone at the end.
But it was Tony’s funeral that brought people from the entire Galaxy together. Everyone came to mourn and pay their respect to Tony. Pepper, Morgan Stark, Happy, Steve, Thor, Hulk, Clint with his family, Rhodey, Wanda, the Wakandans – Okoye, Shuri, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Wong, Peter Parker, Sam, Bucky, the Guardians – Quill, Rocket, Groot, Drax, Nebula, Mantis, Ty Simpkins’ Harley Keener (Iron Man 3), Maria Hill, Carol Danvers, Scott Lang and the Pym Family, and most importantly Nick Fury.

Other Confusions Or Spoilers, What Is Next ?

Black Widow
Now we know for sure that Black Widow’s chronological future in the MCU is now gonna be over. Hulk’s snap couldn’t bring her back as she died in the same way as Gamora did, i.e. in exchange for the Soul Stone. So she isn’t coming back for the female team-up movie, but her major sacrifice is going to pull in a huge crowd for her prequel story coming up next year.

The Dance and New Captain America?
Steve Rogers is sent back to the past by Hulk, Sam, and Bucky, in order to put all the Infinity Stones back from where they were taken so the elements of the timeline screwed up by the Avengers are restored. He also brings back Mjolnir to where Thor took it from. But he didn’t stop at that.
With Time travel at his disposal, he takes Tony’s suggestion, goes to Peggy and fulfills his promise. They finish their dance and Steve stays back in the past only to live a complete & supposedly peaceful life. In the present, we see an older version of Steve who is at peace, and he passes on his mantle to Sam, who will now be the next Captain America.

Spider-Man: Far From HomePeter goes back to school, and he meets Ned. We don’t get the explanation as to how he is still in school even 5 years later in time, but Spider-Man: Far From Home will surely explain that to us. We will see Peter lead his life without Tony Stark as he meets a new mentor in the name of Nick Fury.

Asgardians of the Galaxy
Thor crowns Valkyrie as the ruler of the new Asgard, and bids farewell to leave with Rocket and the Asgardians of the Galaxy. This will be the plot that will be furthered in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, as James Gunn will now get to work with the God of Thunder being a professional Guardian. The plot could take us to the Adam Warlock, or Rocket’s creator, or perhaps on a quest to search for the younger version of Gamora.

Clint Barton
Post this came the set up for Phase 4 which is going to be divided into movies and Disney+ TV Shows. Hawkeye is with his family, but perhaps he will continue to train his daughter as she may become the Kate Bishop of the MCU in the upcoming Hawkeye series.

Young Avengers
Harley Keener (the kid from Iron Man 3) returned at Tony’s funeral and now he’s a grownup teen. Cassie Lang is older and ready to take her comic book story arc. Hawkeye is going to train a version of Kate Bishop. The MCU is expanding in multiple ways and we have already got a set up for a Young Avengers movie/TV Series. More members can be added in the future.

A Force of Wakanda
Tessa Thompson, Brie Larson, and Evangeline Lilly have spoken that they’ve put in an idea of the female team-up movie in the future. Well, we already get a tease of that here, as every female super teamed up to help Captain Marvel take the Infinity Gauntlet to Lang’s van. Black Widow was missing as she was permanently dead to be there. But never mind, with Valkyrie now being the Queen of New Asgard, and Captain Marvel set to return, we could perhaps see an A-Force movie in the future.

Wanda-Vision
It is confirmed that Scarlet Witch will return by the very next year in her own TV series on Disney+. She won’t be alone as Vision is going to join her. Vis missed the final battle as Shuri was also disintegrated, so she couldn’t fix the Android.
But we saw her download his consciousness and programming in Infinity War, so that was the set up for the upcoming TV show. Vision is supposedly going to get a Wakandan upgrade and that is why Wanda-Vision could also feature a great element of Wakanda.

Loki
The Avengers did create a whole lot of crazy possibilities by going back to the past, and even Cap going back to put all the stones back might not have solved one problem. Loki might be dead in the present, but he took the Tesseract with him as Stark and Scott caused a distraction during the very end of Avengers 1. So he escaped and this could lead us into his own solo TV show where he causes various events upon Midgard that no one really knew about.

Other Sequels
There was no particular scene dedicated to Stephen Strange, Carol Danvers, T’Challa, Langs and Pyms, except for the celebration montage. But we know that all of them would get their own movies. Doctor Strange 2 could continue with the repercussions of his repeated use of the Time Stone. Black Panther 2 could continue with the aftermath of opening Wakanda to the entire world.

Here’s the new synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:-

“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be an overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
